Don’t you just love seeing a chefs career come full circle? Chef Joseph Forest was once a line cook then Sous Chef at Wynwood Kitchen & Bar. He made his way around Miami working at some of South Florida’s most notable establishments including Racks Downtown Eatery + Tavern in Boca Raton, Sugarcane Raw Bar Grill in Midtown and Stephen Starr’s Le Zoo and Makoto in Bal Harbour and now back to WK&B as Executive Chef. Forest is bringing with him his experiences, flavors, and flair with him to spruce up the menu with dishes such as a Yellowtail Tiradito, Truffle Croquettas, and Patacon Sliders.

Nestled right in the hustle and bustle of Wynwood’s NE 2nd Avenue, Wynwood Kitchen & Bar makes for a great dining option while your strolling through the neighborhood admiring the art covered buildings or going on a first date. Dress it up, dress it down, heels or converses, you really can’t go wrong. HOWEVER I do suggest you walk through the Walls post dinner so keep that in mind when choosing your kicks. Over 50 artists from 16 countries have blessed the walls with their talents making them one of Miami’s top ‘Don’t Miss It!’ destinations.

With so much creativity flowing through the streets of Wynwood, I think Chef Joseph did a great job of incorporating that into the flavors and colors of WKB’s new dishes.

Hope you make your way over there soon! Be sure to tag me in your photos.. I like to see what y’all eat and think!
