A gorgeous dining room with flowing white drapery and soft wood tones. A menu by global classically trained Chef Manuel Maittei paying tribute to his Northern Italian roots and his mama’s legacy. It’s no surprise that we’re in for a treat when dining at Donna Mare inside the Cadillac Hotel and Beach Club on Miami Beach.
The moment you walk in the dining room provides a calming wow feel with strong Italian accents coming from the open kitchen.
If you’re dining at Donna Mare you must be in the mood for Italian, but now you must decide– Fresh Homemade Pastas, Wood Oven Pizza, Fish, Meat, and a variety of other options all made with farm-to-table ingredients.
For our dinner, we started with the Beef Carpaccio and Burrata.
When the chef recommended the Branzino in Padilla and a 8 oz. Filet, we weren’t about to second guess him and thank goodness we didn’t! Both of these dishes had us letting out a good ‘mmm…’ even several bites in. Packed with flavor and cooked to perfection.
Save room for dessert, we suggest the Créme Brülée.
When it comes to attire, think hot date. If you’re lucky you can score a parking on the street like we did. The Cadillac Hotel & Beach Club sits right again the Boardwalk which is perfect for a post dinner stroll.
